Many of our Burgundies come from Labaume Ainé & Fils in Beaune, a business founded in 1734 and run by several members of the Bichot family. Wines marked withare exclusive to our Wine Buying Group.

	Caves Auguste Moreau Well coloured, richly flavoured Gamay wine, with more superiority than basic Beaujolais.
2006	MORGON AC Cru Beaujolais	13%	75cl
	Caves Auguste Moreau One of the most sturdy Beaujolais, it has a singularly penetrating bouquet and very compact fruit.
2007	BROUILLY AC Cru Beaujolais	13%	75cl
	Caves Auguste Moreau This is the largest and most southerly of the ten ‘cru’ villages. The wine is full, fruity and supple, although a little earthy.

	Caves Auguste Moreau The most expensive of the ‘crus’, Fleurie has a fresh, floral and fragrant style with a depth of fruit that sustains the wine.

	Louis Latour Produced in a single village, this wine is bigger and fatter than Mâcon Supérieur Blanc.

	Paul Paillard & Cie Not to be confused with Pouilly Fumé, this is firmer and more flavoury than Mâcon Blanc.

	La Croix St-Joseph, Jean Moreau & Fils A dry, crisp wine with a fresh citrus and nutty expression and long lasting finish. It has an harmonious and elegant balance between fruit and the minerality obtained from the gravelly soil.

	La Croix St-Joseph, Jean Moreau & Fils One of the finer Premier Crus, Vaillon is more elegant and lasting than basic Chablis.

	Jean Moreau & Fils Almost totally dry, the 7 Grand Crus are the biggest, richest and most structured of all the wines of Chablis. The individual styles vary but Les Clos is rich, luscious and complex.
