Château Lavison is just north of St Emilion, and is run by 3 generations of ladies from the same family, whom we have met; their wine is superb value and is receiving increasing acclaim. We are listing vintages of the well known Château Cissac from 2003 and 2005, and we have 2 classified growths from the superb 2002 vintage, which produced wines which are elegant and well structured, with good keeping qualities.

We list below a selection from the 2005 vintage, which some experts are dubbing the greatest of all time. Jonathan Ray of the Telegraph says “It could even be better than 1982, or 1961; it really is that good.” A wet spring was followed by a dry, hot summer, culminating in a perfect harvest for many of Bordeaux’s estates.
